BERC team (Dr. Rana Jamous) delivered a lecture entitled “Genetically modified organisms (GMO)” at the Abu-Ali Iyad Girls' Secondary School in Qalqilia city on 3rd February 2020. About 120 students and teachers attended the lecture. During the lecture, Dr. Rana explained in detail the concept of GMO, and the technical side of the topic. The lecture was followed by a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of GMOs. At the end of the lecture, the School Principal, Mrs. Hala Abu Zaitoun, and the students expressed their appreciation to BERC team and hoped for more such activities in the future.
